Hi, I'm the person behind WorkGlobal.

WorkGlobal is not a faceless corporation. It's a real product, built and maintained by a real person who saw a real problem and decided to solve it.

Why I built this

I started WorkGlobal because I kept seeing the same problem: freelancers and remote workers crossing borders for work, with no clear guidance on what they owe, where they file, or how to avoid paying taxes twice on the same income. The information exists, but it's scattered across government websites, buried in tax treaty documents, and locked behind $500/hour consultants.

I believed AI could bridge that gap โ€” not by replacing tax professionals, but by giving everyday freelancers a structured starting point they could actually understand. Something that takes your exact situation (your country, your client's country, your work type) and gives you a clear, personalized overview of what you need to know.

What makes us different

A lot of AI products present their output as authoritative fact. We don't. Every WorkGlobal report includes confidence ratings that tell you exactly where the AI is strong and where you should verify independently. We have a methodology page that explains how our reports are generated, what the AI knows, and what its limitations are. We built guardrails into every prompt to prevent the AI from inventing tax codes, treaty numbers, or filing deadlines it isn't confident about.

Honesty is more important to us than conversions. If our free report answers your question, great โ€” that's a win. If you need more detail, the full guide is there. And if your situation is complex enough that you really need a human professional, we'll tell you that too.

Based in the US, serving the world

WorkGlobal is based in California, USA. We serve freelancers and contractors worldwide, with a focus on the corridors where cross-border work is most common โ€” US, UK, EU, APAC, and Africa. Our paid guides use purchasing-power parity pricing, because a freelancer in Lagos and a freelancer in London have the same need for good information but very different budgets.

Our commitment

I take this seriously because the people using this tool are making real financial decisions. A wrong answer about tax residency or a missed filing deadline can cost someone thousands. That's why we invest in guardrails, confidence ratings, and transparency โ€” and why every report includes a clear disclaimer that this is educational guidance, not professional advice.

If you find an error in a report, I want to know about it. If you have feedback on how we can be more helpful, I want to hear it. This is a product I'm actively building and improving, and user feedback is how it gets better.
